6.5 Creedmoor. A “fan boy” round or a worthy big game hunting cartridge contender? I used to be one of those who talked shit on the 6.5, but after setting up a budget rifle in that caliber for desert mule deer hunting, my mind has changed on the capabilities of this round. From deer to elk, my 6.5 Creedmoor Ruger American Predator has proven with 100% one shot lethality, it is more than capable.
